  • Overview

    The Business Development Manager is responsible for sales throughout the entire division.  The Business Development Manager’s prospecting and sales efforts create growth for OnePoint’s existing dispensing pharmacy markets, establishment of new dispensing pharmacy markets, and continued expansion as a national pharmacy benefits management (PBM) provider.  The Business Development Manager’s ability to effectively communicate OnePoint Patient Care’s services and consistently establish new partnerships is crucial to the company’s growth.

    Responsibilities

    • Identify, prospect, cultivate and develop long term relationships with new hospice programs in assigned markets
    • Make and maintain sales contacts, research partner needs and develop application of products and services in an effective manner by researching and maintaining database of potential partners that lead to sales
    • Plan, develop and deliver sales presentations in a professional manner
    • Establish new hospice partnerships by continuously cultivating new hospice partners, managing a number of accounts in various stages of the sales process, facilitating prospective partners along the sale process, and managing follow-up communication across a varied spectrum of readiness
    • Participate in sales forecasting and planning by researching, developing and maintaining long and short range marketing plans, producing reports for leadership review and creating and maintaining updated market development plans that contribute to product/service planning
    • Requires travel by car and/or plane

    • Able to establish and maintain effective relationships with management, partners, fellow employees, vendors, and the general public

     

    Education and Experience Qualifications

     

    • Hospice nursing or hospice marketing/sales experience preferred
    • BA or BS degree preferred. Advanced degree in Management or Business valued. Must have superior oral and written communication skills
